When will Genshin Impact’s Inazuma Characters Release?

The timeline of Genshin Impact’s Inazuma Characters

By Cassidy Stephenson

Genshin Impact will add the second permanent region to the map of Tevyat: Inazuma on July 21 for the 1.7 update. The first region added was the chilly mountains of Dragonspine. With all the upcoming characters from the Inazuma region, it can be hard to keep track of which characters are releasing when.

Hopefully, you snagged a Klee during her rerun before the banner ended on June 29 at 6 p.m. Central Standard Time in preparation for Kazuha’s release. The traveler is first introduced to Kaedehara Kazuha in the “Autumn Winds, Scarlet Leaves” quest on a ship alongside Captain Beidou, the familiar Electro pirate. We already knew that Kazuha is a 5-star Anemo sword character, despite the red streak in his hair that leads people to believe he’s a Pyro. However, you’ll see that he sports a tiny Anemo badge on his back when talking to the traveler. We also knew that he is quite the haiku enthusiast.

Kazuha’s banner released on June 29 and will end on July 20. The other possible characters to pull during his banner include the Cryo polearm user Rosaria, the Pyro sword user Bennett, and the Electro claymore user Razor. All of which we have seen before. For more information on Kazuha’s battle mechanics, check out this article.

The character set to release following Kazuha is Kamisato Ayaka, a Cryo sword user, known as simply Ayaka on the banner. Ayaka is polite and devotes her life to the citizens of Inazuma. Players can start wishing that Ayaka comes home from July 21 through August 10. It is not yet confirmed what other characters will be possible to pull for in addition to Ayaka.

On August 10, Yoimiya’s banner will commence. Yoimiya is a 5-star Pyro bow user, hopefully, that won’t hurt Amber’s feelings. It is rumored that 4-star Anemo claymore user, Sayu, will be released alongside Yoimiya and another option for players to pull. The other remaining characters possible to wish for on the banner are not yet confirmed.

Players can test run any of the previously mentioned characters when their corresponding banners release. You can also watch character demos on Genshin Impact’s YouTube channel

Other upcoming characters are yet to be confirmed by Mihoyo but keep an eye out for any further updates on their social media pages.
